How-to: Use your TiVo Series3 eSATA port to add an external drive – Engadget

Oh-my-gawd! The moment TiVo Series3 owners have been waiting for is here. If you were patient enough not to upgrade your original Series3 hard drive (supposedly only works on non-upgraded drives), then click the link above and read how to add an external hard drive in a few easy steps. This tip seems to have been originally posted in the TiVo Community forums. This is a great hack that doesn’t involve opening your beloved TiVo, which voids your warranty. It’s as simple as attaching your external drive and pressing a few buttons on your TiVo remote.

  1. Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this site. It’s simple,
yet effective. A lot of times it’s tough to get that “perfect balance” between usability and appearance. I must say you’ve
done a awesome job with this. Also, the blog loads very fast for
me on Internet explorer. Exceptional Blog!

  2. What i don’t realize is if truth be told how you’re now
not really a lot more neatly-favored than you might be now.
You’re very intelligent. You already know therefore significantly
on the subject of this topic, produced me for my part believe it from a lot of various angles.
Its like women and men don’t seem to be fascinated unless it is something to do with Lady gaga!
Your personal stuffs nice. All the time maintain it up!
